1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cup butter
1 egg
1 cup persimmon pulp
2 ¼ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
Dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cloves
1 cup raisins
1 cup walnuts (chopped fine)
1 cup dates
Mix together the sugar, butter and egg. Refrigerate.
Mix together the rest of the ingredients. Add in the refrigerated sugar, butter and egg mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container so the cookies do not loose their moisture. They are much better when they are moist.
