Larry's Mocha Brownie Dessert

2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla
½ cup chopped nuts
Combine chocolate and margarine in bowl. Microwave on high for 1 ½ minutes. (Until melted) Stir in sugar; beat in eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread batter into 2 quarts glass pan (8” X 8”)
Microwave on defrost for 7 minutes.
Microwave on high for 3 to 4 minutes or until puffed and dry on top. Cool. Cut into bars.
Top with ice cream and homemade syrup:
Homemade syrup:
1 ¼ cup sugar
½ cup water
½ cup white corn syrup
Dash of salt
3 to 4 heaping Tbsp of cocoa
Boil for 5 minutes. Add 1 tsp instant coffee.
